Think you're too old or unfit for a movement retreat?

All levels of fitness are welcome. The Gentle Method is a Pilates-based, somatics-styled method that doesn't subscribe to creating unnecessary tension. It is a movement method and simply a way of 'being' that is helpful and appropriate for all ages. All movement is exercise. You will work hard virtually without knowing it.  We believe in  workout without burnout.

Some of us (me!) find it very hard to meditate. Just sitting still is a challenge never mind emptying my mind! Moving Meditation is easier for me and helps me wind down before my yoga Nidra session enabling me to deepen my shavasana without so many mental distractions.
